Quick answers

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your LastMessages account does not cancel a subscription.

How does the free trial work?

You get 30 days of full access, and we'll email you a reminder about a week before it ends. Unless you cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings before then, it converts to the monthly plan at $4.99 a month.

What happens to my scheduled messages if I delete my account?

They're permanently cancelled. Messages that haven't been delivered yet can't be recovered or delivered later.

How many Trustees do I need?

By default you appoint two, and both must confirm before your after-death messages become eligible for release. You can choose one Trustee instead, or three and set how many confirmations are required.

Is being a Trustee a legal role?

No. A Trustee is a LastMessages role only. It doesn't create a legal trust, fiduciary relationship, power of attorney or executorship.

Is LastMessages a will?

No. LastMessages complements formal estate planning, but it doesn't replace a will, trust or other legal document.
