How it works
Record the words that matter today. LastMessages keeps them private and delivers them to the people you choose, at the moment you choose, including after you're gone.

Create your message
Write a text or an email, record your voice, or add photos and video. Say it the way you'd say it in person.
Nothing is final. You can edit, reschedule or delete any message until it's delivered.
Choose who receives it
Add the people each message is meant for. A message can go to one person or to several.
Keep their email addresses and phone numbers current. Delivery depends on the contact details you give us.

Choose when
Every message has its own delivery setting. Mix and match: a birthday note next year, a letter for a wedding, and a message for after you're gone.
Messages scheduled more than 5 years ahead are $1.99 each, paid when you schedule them. After-death messages are not affected.

Appoint your Trustees
For after-death messages, choose trusted people who can confirm your passing when the time comes. Each Trustee receives an invitation and can accept or decline.
By default you appoint two, and both must confirm. You can choose one Trustee instead, or three and set how many confirmations are required.
Trustees confirm. They don't receive your messages unless you've also made them a recipient. Being a Trustee is a LastMessages role only, not a legal one like an executor.
When the moment comes
Each recipient receives your message, a notification, or a secure link to open it, depending on how it's delivered.
They get exactly what you made. Your words, your voice, your face. Nothing is generated or rewritten.

Private and encrypted
Your messages and personal information are protected with encryption in transit and at rest. They're never made public.
Not a will
LastMessages complements formal estate planning. It doesn't replace a will, trust or other legal document.
Change your mind anytime
Update messages, recipients, dates and Trustees whenever you like. Your most recent settings are the ones that count.
Some words are too important to leave unsaid.
Start with a single message. It takes a few minutes.
